Can only yearn from a distance
Never reach out far
Remains of a ragged soul
And a broken heart.
"Here lies a martyred love" –
Rusted blood stains the grave of her spirit
Vain had slain
Nay dig beneath it !
Clouded by a million sighs
My love flayed bleak,
Perished among the weak,
Let bygones be bygones
Thou shalt not seek.
The quest for solace draws an end
Into the valley of scars
Drowning in the marshes of my dreams
I await thee under the stars.
